Choose from 35 free black aesthetic phone wallpapers with minimalist, dark city, night, space, blue-black and black-and-gold themes. Every image below is in portrait orientation at 1024 × 1792 pixels, making the collection suitable for many iPhone and Android lock screens and home screens.
How to use these black phone wallpapers
- Open the wallpaper you like and save the image to your phone.
- Open your device wallpaper settings.
- Preview the crop before applying it to the lock screen or home screen.
- If app labels or widgets become hard to read, choose one of the simpler or darker designs.
Dark wallpapers often work especially well on home screens because icons remain easy to distinguish. On OLED displays, predominantly black areas can also use less display power than bright areas in some conditions.
This is the broader aesthetic collection for both iPhone and Android. If you specifically want vertical backgrounds selected around iPhone use, see our black iPhone wallpapers. For help with saving, cropping or applying any image, use the wallpaper setup guide.
