The strongest pages in this gallery are the group scenes where cats, rabbits, bears and other cartoon animals wear costumes, jackets, crowns or Halloween outfits. Those pages have more small details and are better with colored pencils or fine-tip markers. Farther down the gallery, some sheets are simpler kawaii animal groups without a strong costume theme.
If you are printing for a younger child, choose one of the pages with three or four large characters and very little background detail. For Halloween-style coloring, keep the animals fairly simple and put the stronger colors into hats, capes, pumpkins and other costume pieces.
For more seasonal pages, see the spider coloring pages and first day of fall printables. For animals without costumes, the broader animal coloring collection is the better starting point.
How to save and print the coloring pages
- Choose the animal costume design you want to color.
- Open or save the full-size image to your device.
- Print on A4 or Letter paper and use fit-to-page in the print preview.
For younger children, start with pages that have fewer costume details and larger open areas. Older kids and adults may prefer the more detailed group scenes.
