This collection has 15 rose coloring pages, from simple single-flower designs to more detailed and realistic roses. All of the files are portrait-oriented at 896 × 1344, so they are easy to print on A4 or US Letter paper without an awkward landscape crop.
If you want a quick page, start with the simple or cute roses with larger petals and fewer leaves. The detailed and realistic pages take longer because the petals overlap more and give you more places to add shading.

Rose color ideas beyond red
Red is the obvious choice, but it does not have to be the default. Pink, peach, yellow, cream, lavender and even blue or black can work depending on the style you want. For a more realistic look, use one main petal color and add a slightly darker shade where petals overlap. For a softer result, keep the center darker and let the outer petals become lighter.
Green leaves also do not need to be one flat shade. A darker green near the stem and a lighter green along the outer leaf edges adds depth without making the page complicated.
What tools work best?
- Crayons: easiest on the simpler rose pages with large petals.
- Colored pencils: best for realistic petals, leaves and gentle shading.
- Markers: useful for bold, flat color; place a spare sheet underneath on normal copy paper.
