20 Easy and Cute Panda Drawings in Pencil 2023

STEP 1

Draw a circle for the panda’s head and a general outline of the bear’s torso. It is important to accurately maintain the proportions of these contours. If it is difficult for you to draw yourself, you can print on the printer, almost on the entire sheet of paper, this first drawing.

First of all, we outline the general proportions of such a bear cub. We draw two circles, which we then connect with two arcuate lines.

Step 2

At this stage, you need to draw the paws. Their position and approximate size. It is very difficult to draw the exact contours of the panda’s paws right away, so if you find it difficult to do this, draw their approximate shape, and then “correct” the panda.

Step 3

It will probably not be difficult for you to draw ears, and a nose too. The only advice is to draw lines for now, without pressing hard on the pencil. Despite the simplicity of my lessons, drawing a panda is quite difficult, so you will have to constantly correct and even delete many of them.

Step 4

By this stage, you must very carefully “prepare” the preliminary drawing of the panda. Check all the contours of the paws, ears, nose again. Erase the intersecting lines of the right front paw and the hind left paw. After that, proceed to the detailing of the panda drawing.

There is no need to explain in detail how to do this. Just watch how I drew a panda and do the same.

We draw a muzzle of a cute panda – eyes and an outline of spots around them, a nose and a mouth. We draw in more detail the entire torso and head. Let’s add small details.

Step 5

The panda has a very original coat color as if there was not enough paint to color this bear completely. So the ears and the area around the eyes remained black, and the rest of the panda’s head is white.

Don’t forget to color the panda’s nose black as well. Be sure to draw a reed stalk in the paws. Panda loves this plant very much because the cane is sweet and juicy. The panda, like any bear, has claws, draw them too, they are like fingers for her.

Step 6

Now it remains only to shade the necessary parts of the panda’s fur with a pencil, and the panda’s drawing will be finished. The panda’s coat is quite long and coarse, and you need to do strokes with a “clearance” to create the texture of coarse wool, otherwise, the panda’s drawing will look like a teddy bear.

For greater realism of the picture, you can draw next to the panda the landscape surrounding it – mountains, vegetation, and, of course, green reeds, with long sharp leaves.

We work on bamboo with a saturated green color after the first layer has dried. We will also do with the body, where we are working on the spots with a more saturated black color.

Step 7

With yellow watercolor, we create highlights on the white areas of the wool. Create a green lawn under the panda with green watercolor and saturate all the fur spots with color, as well as the mouth.

Step 8

We are waiting for the moment when the sheet of paper with the pattern is completely dry to work it out with thin liners. We get a beautiful and cute drawing of a panda with bamboo, which you want to embellish your future birthday greeting card.
